Meet Our Exceptional Team
J.B. Baldwin
Born and raised in Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida. He is a licensed real
estate associate, CCIM and a partner in Baldwin-Howell Properties.
Baldwin started his career in banking, where he worked as a commercial lender and mortgage banker for 6
years before coming to work with Baldwin-Howell Properties in 2014.
Since joining Baldwin-Howell, Baldwin’s focus has been on overseeing the acquisition, development and
financing of new properties into the Baldwin-Howell portfolio, with a focus on self-storage development.
Jordan Farrales
As VP of Acquisitions, Jordan plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing the firm’s investment
strategy and is responsible for new deal generation and managing pipeline growth for Baldwin-Howell
Properties.
Jordan has over 9 years of experience in investments with a background in hedge funds, along with private
equity and real estate experience. He has led acquisitions and development on over 1M square feet of
commercial real estate throughout his career.
He is a licensed real estate associate and holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of South Florida.
Eric Howell
A Florida resident and real estate professional since 1986, Eric Howell is a managing partner of Baldwin-Howell Properties and is also a licensed real estate broker and the owner of Lancaster Realty, Inc.
Howell began his career in Tampa in retail property leasing. He later moved to Bradenton and continued to focus on the retail sector, also moving into development and management of that property type.
While his focus has spread into the self-storage sector over years, retail property remains one of his areas of expertise and he continues to be active in that sector. His company, Lancaster Realty, continues to handle the management and leasing for the majority of the retail properties held in the Baldwin-Howell portfolio today.
Brad Baldwin
A lifelong Florida resident and graduate of the University of Florida, Jon Bradford (Brad) Baldwin has been in the real estate business since 1975. He is a managing partner of Baldwin-Howell Properties and is a licensed real estate broker.
Mr. Baldwin began his career in St. Petersburg, FL developing residential homes, condos and land and later co-founded Parsley-Baldwin Realty, a real estate brokerage in Boca Grande, FL, which he ran until selling in 2005 to focus exclusively on his investment and development portfolio.
He purchased his first storage facility in 1987 and later developed or purchased another 13 facilities from 1997-2005. After selling a few properties through the years, Baldwin is currently an owner or partner in 7 storage facilities and is also a partner in all of Baldwin-Howell’s retail holdings and current development projects.
Baldwin also serves on the Board of Directors for 1st Manatee Bank and was previously a founding director of Florida Shores Bank Southwest, which was sold to Stonegate Bank, of which Baldwin remained a Director of through taking public on NASDAQ (SGBK) in 2015.
Brian Baldwin
Brian Baldwin is a forth generation Floridian and a graduate of the University of South Florida. He is a licensed real estate associate and partner in Baldwin-Howell.
Prior to joining Baldwin-Howell Brian has worked in many aspects of sales and the storage industry, starting with the management side of the storage business. Brian managed two facilities in South West Florida for Extra Space. After that he worked in ticket sales for the New York Yankees.
Most recently Brian worked for one of the industry leading self-storage brokerage teams (the Mele Storage Group) of Marcus and Millichap. Since he joined the Mele Team in 2014 he has personally been involved in over sixty million dollars in sales and was a part of a team that sold over seven hundred million dollars of self-storage assets in a two year period.
Since joining Baldwin-Howell Brian has a focus on acquisitions of new development sites and existing properties to add to the Baldwin-Howell Portfolio. Brian has grown up in the industry and has been personally involved in Self-Storage for over ten years. He is a member of the Self-Storage Association (SSA) and its Young Leaders Group (YLG)
